Vanpool Subsidy Programs

VANBUCK$
VANBUCK$ is an empty seat subsidy program that gives groups of employees financial assistance when forming a new vanpool or to keep an existing vanpool on the road.

  • To qualify, at least 75% of the van's passengers must be employees of a TMA member company or State agency; the driver or vanpool coordinator must be an employee of a TMA member company or state agency; and, the van must be at least 2/3 full prior to the subsidy.
  • NJ TRANSIT also offers a VANPOOL SPONSORSHIP incentive of $150.00 per month to qualified vanpools in areas of New Jersey where public transit is not available.
