WORKOUT TO WORK

Workout to Work is Greater Mercer TMA’s newest incentive program, designed to help commuters stay healthy by walking or bicycling to work or transit. Workout to Work is designed primarily for the person who lives within 5 to 10 miles of the worksite or public transit and wants to combine daily exercise with their commute. Participants are provided with resources and information to get started; including a map, suggested routes, safety information and commuting tips. Each month that commuters track their healthy commute miles, they are eligible for prizes. Employees can register and track their miles on line. Or, give us a call at 609-452-1491 and we'll get you on your way!

Greater Mercer TMA’s Workout to Work program also takes the employer’s “work out” of setting up a program to encourage bicycling and walking to work. We'll work with employers to customize a program to meet their needs, whether it's an on-site WorkOut to Work rally, materials or employee training.

But prizes and incentives aren't the only benefits of bicycling and walking to work. Commuters can get in shape, feel better, save money (and maybe time!), reduce traffic and help the environment. Employers can benefit from a healthier, happier workforce, fewer cars, freed up parking spaces and a positive public image.
