Follow these program rulesOf course there are rules for using a freewheels bicycle! 'freewheels rules' are posted on each bike. Be sure to read and understand the rules before you ride. They're for everyone's safety: |
||
| Follow all state and local laws for operating safely. (You may contact the TMA office for additional bicycle materials and information, including adult and children's seminars on bicycle safety.) | ||
| Riding bicycles on the sidewalk in downtown Princeton is illegal. | ||
| Leave the bicycles at designated freewheels station locations where others may use them. | ||
| Never lock-up a freewheels bicycle. 'IN USE' signs are located in the basket. If you are going to be off the bicycle for less than 15 minutes, flip the 'IN USE' sign over the front of the basket to reserve the bicycle for your use when you return. | ||
| Do not leave bicycles where someone is likely to trip over them. | ||
| Bicycles are not equipped for night use. | ||
| Report any mechanical defects or
problems by calling Greater Mercer TMA at: (609) 452-8988. | ||
