School Programs

Our renewable resource for the future is our children. Making sure they know and practice safe commuting at an early age is an important part of their education. Greater Mercer TMA will work with schools to develop progams and assist in establishing carpools for children.

The New Jersey of Department of Transportation has partnered with the Greater Mercer TMA to administer a new statewide education and encouragement program using Safe Routes to School Federal SAFETEA-LU funds. The goal of the program is to educate and encourage more children to walk and bicycle to school. For more information about the program please contact the TMA by clicking here.

School Pool — Teach children about "Greener" commutes by starting a carpool to school program. Greater Mercer TMA can help parents set-up carpools to take their children to school through our RidePro computer program.
