Carpooling – Two heads are better than one

Sharing the ride to work with others is a great way to go green.
Finding people to carpool with is easy – and it’s free!

If you work in Mercer County, Princeton Forrestal Center or Montgomery Township, Greater Mercer TMA can get you on your way. If you work in another county, don’t worry – there are TMAs throughout New Jersey that will be glad to assist you. Use the on line application to get started.

If we find you a match, we will send you a list of names of commuters who live and work near you and have similar schedules. Like you, they’re looking to re-think their commute by carpooling. When you receive the list, email or call the people on the list to make arrangements – it's that simple. Regardless of whether you carpool one day a week or five, you will save money and clean the air.

Once you’re in a carpool, you may be eligible for Home Free, our emergency ride home program and other rewards and incentives.
