Construction Alerts, Shuttle alerts, and similar notices may
be sent at any time during normal business hours, Monday - Friday.
Traffic and Transit Alerts are generally sent between 3:30 PM
and 4:10 PM in preparation for the evening commute, Monday - Friday.
All alerts usually contain the following information:
Where? - The route that is
affected, and the
town in which the incident/construction is taking place.
When? - The
date and time of the incident, and often the likely duration of its
effects.
What? - A
description of the construction, incident, or transit service
change.
GMTMA provides traffic
alerts for Mercer and Ocean counties. Mercer Alerts and Ocean
Alerts are available by email and text message to everyone. We also send out
some information to interested subscribers regarding construction and incidents
in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
On the Sign Up form, you select the alerts you'd like to
receive:
Transit
- Major schedule changes and disruptions.
Local roads
- Construction and major incidents on local roads.
Major roads - Construction and
major incidents on highways and toll roads.
